A big thank you to everyone at Mosborough Hall for a fantastic day on Sunday. We set up the Gazebo at the entrance to the stables where the main exibition was held and greeted guests with beautiful Bellinis on arrival.

The Bespoke Bartender Company would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to Abbi for having us at her birthday bash last night. Everyone had such an amazing time and the garden looked stunning!

With excellent tunes played all evening by a DJ friend and a beautiful enviroment topped off by record breaking weather meant that this party was easily one of the best the boys from bespoke have worked!

As well as laughs and larks there was sertainly no shortage of booze! There was always pleanty of cocktails prepared for guests to help themselves to with ice cold beers available for the guys, there wasn't a dry mouth in the house for sure.

The bar looked in its eliment, surronded buy candle light and covered in cocktails. Truly what it was built for.

We can't thank Abbi enough, and look forward to seeing Hannah again hopefully at her wedding in December.

Wedding at Alrewas Hayes

The Bespoke Bartenders were at it again this Weekend at Alrewas Hayes Hotel Near Derby serving up a beautiful array of cocktails for an awesome black and pink themed wedding. The Venue itself was absolutely magnificent, one of the most beautiful buildings we've had the pleasure of visiting.

As for the evenings service, Cosmoplotians (the powder pink drink) were definitely the pick for the evening for the ladies, whilst the guys got stuck into the Long Island Iced Teas.

The guests loved the flair and there was plenty of bar banter going on to create the perfect atmosphere around the cocktail lounge.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all those at Alrewas Hayes for all their help on the day, they were absolutely fantastic to work with and we look forward to working with them again very soon.

Wedding Bar

The boys from the bespoke bartender were over near Nottingham the other weekend chucking out cocktails and beers for a beautiful garden wedding.

The weather was perfect and the guests were some of the nicest people we've served, finished off with late night pork and stuffing cobs and a truly epic fireworks display, the whole day was wonderful from start to finish.

The Bespoke boys even held a little flair class for some of the guests outside on the grass which was great fun, and everyone involved loved it!

The Bespoke Bartender Company stood at the wedding fayre at the Red Lion this week along with Chilli Butler. It was a glorious day! We made Mocktails for all the future bride and grooms from 11:00am to 4:00pm. The topless butler and skantilly clad hostess went down a treat and we're looking forward to doing more work with them in the future. The Red Lion was an absolutly beautiful venue and we're hoping to do work there more ofter.

The cocktail is called a De-Vine, and consists of a ludicrously lovely dram of citrus vodka, a splash of dry vermouth, and a double measure of white grape juice, we've decided to finish it off with black grapes for contrast.

Garden Fate Wedding

This weekend The Bespoke Bartender was working with Nick Wadesons; Mobile Bar Company in Heartfordshire at a beautifull summer fate style wedding reception. We served arrival drinks including prosseco, pimms, and a range of fruit juices to guests as they arrived at mid day, and continued through the evening untill the bar was almost dry!

Everyone had an excellent time, and loved the bar entertainment. An all round success from start to finish.

Brampton Primary School in Chesterfield asked The Bespoke Bartender to run a Mocktail bar for the kids Bafta Awards Ceremony to celebrate their last term at the school.

The kids loved it!

So did the adults!

It was round fun for everyone!

It just goes to show how flexible The Bespoke Bartenders services are, the children thought the flair (bottle juggling) was great and all the little bar tricks kept them entertained for ages!

Christening Party

The Bespoke Bartender worked with Mobile Bar Company to provide the bar service for little Oliver's Christening party. There was a chance of rain when we arrived but that soon cleared up and the day was excellent! There was no cocktail service but plenty of pop and beer available. Charlie (Olivers mother) was overwelmed by the success of the afternoon & evening and has asked us to return for future events.

Officers Summer Ball

The Bespoke Bartender travelled to Lindsey this Saturday for the RAF's officers summer ball at RAF Kirton. It was a really great evening, organised and run by site manager Steve, there was all sorts going on, but one of the main draws was obviously the cocktail bar! We used the reception desk as the bar and set it up to do cocktails and flair!

The officers thoroughly enjoyed their drinks and the whole event in general and The Bespoke Bartender has been asked to come back for next years ball.

Champagne in the sun

A fantastic evening which spread through until after midnight, with wine and spirits served in the later part.

Full Moon Party @ Bia Hoi!

What an amazing night! Bia Hoi really pulled out all the stops to make this night a success, and what a success! Ric and Matt pulled out some of the old Greece tricks, as well as great DJ's, UV, and Cocktail buckets, it was enough to make your head spin!

The Man with The Cocktail Van

That's right! Believe your eyes! It is an ice cream van lovingly converted into a mobile cocktail bar! The old transit no longer sells screwballs and has now moved on to screwdrivers! No longer a 99, but a French 75 is on the menu! It even has the original jingle! I can see flustered adults hastily borrowing pocket money back from the kids to get themselves a stinger, or maybe a woo woo before the van goes!

I met Carl Peters (the owner and creator of The Cocktail Van) on Tuesday 16th June at an event for Mobile Bar Company (Manchester), at which he told me a little about himself, his background and how he came to end up with such an obscure but utterly brilliant machine.

A must for a street party or any fair or festival. I've got to say, mobile bars don't get more mobile than this! And if your looking for something different at your party this is VERY different, just make sure you ask him for The Bespoke Bartender when you're thinking of hiring.

Good on you Carl, hope to see you at every fair I go to this year!

Harleys launch night!

Harleys is going GREEN!

The launch party for Harleys brand new salon located on Sheffield Road
View Larger Map went fantastically! Az, Nick & Oli have truly out-done themselves on this one! With the weather on our side it felt just like being in the Med with excellent tunes from the DJ on the beautifull outside terrace (deffinately worth checking out in it's own right) and awesome cocktails (if I do say so myself). Superb from start to finish, the GREEN THEME was recieved lovingly by all, especially the tie! What a tie!

After all that hard work it was time to relax on one of Harleys massaging wash basin chairs, that's right! You can get a head and back massage before your haircut in one blissfull sitting! AWESOME! Simply AWESOME!! They've even got the internet and a fully licenced bottle bar, what more could you possibly ask for?!

Overall a GREAT success!

NHS Conference & Exhibition 2009

The Bespoke Bartender (Richard Wood) headed for Liverpool on Wed 10th June for the NHS National Conference & Exhibition. Working over the course of two days I served passing potential clients with non-alcoholic (and some alcoholic) cocktails. The aim is to entise potential Bevan Brittan customers to the stall in order for the sales team and Lawyers to talk to them more about their services. This proved an out-right success! I was able (as is customary in a bar) to introduce people (Bevan Brittans Lawyers/sales team & Health Care Deligates) to each other at the bar and create a buzz around the stall. The ability to keep potential clients at the stall for a longer period than would normally be excepted at these kind of things, alowed Bevan Brittans excellent team of Lawyers the ability to aproach far more Delegates than would have usually been possible. A GREAT idea to maximise productivity from the stall.

Luxurious Loft Party

Saturday 6th June saw The Bespoke Bartender team working their magic at a private party in one of Manchesters swanky loft appartments. Richard and Matt wowed the crowds with a few moves from their days over in Greece, with cocktails and liquor flying it's a good job they new what they were doing otherwise the ladies beuitifull white carpets would have been anything less than perfect! As it stands the boys did a fantastic job of keeping things clean and tidy.

The bar supplied by Nick Wadeson (The Mobile Bar Company, Manchester), decorated with giant martini glasses and overflowing with outstanding decorative flowers looked as though it had always been there. Once set up it worked like a dream! However getting it up the stairs wasn't so glamerous.

Matt and I had a great time and have been specifically requested for next years party! Roll on the 6th June 2010!

Happy Birthday to Lynsey from Bimbo Design!

Pink, pink, pink! What more can I say!

Adorned with pink paraphernalia, Lynsey and her friends partied right through until 1am at Chandlers cocktail bar in Chesterfield on Thursday 21st May! It really was a great night, everything was pink; the menus, the clothing, the balloons, the cocktails, even the straws were pink! The favourite cocktail of the night was definitely the Pink Panther, but I think that Lynsey enjoyed all of them!

Having originally arranged for the party to be held on the newly opened roof top terrace, we decided that due to the weather reports that we should probably hold it inside. Lynsey had an entire third of the bar decorated in pink lights, balloons and all manor of pink things (none of them rude mind you). Even her friends arrived in pink!

A great success all round, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Lynsey for booking us, Chandlers for hosting it and providing the pink balloons (as well as some from Emma), and everyone involved in making it such a success.

Business Cards

Business Cards! That's right they're here, and all thanks to the wonderful work of Sam Johnson (design), and Lynsey Wells of Bimbo Designs (printing). I can't thank them enough, the cards look absolutely stunning! As well as printing Lynsey also does the design work for business cards, advertisements; including banners, fliers, and posters. She even does websites! Truely talented! It's definitely worth checking her out if you've got any promotional work in mind, I couldn't be happier for what she's done for me so far. Plus there's a noughts and crosses game on the website! Awesome! I was beaten by a monkey however, which is slightly embarrassing.

Chandlers roof top opening!

What a night! Roger was right he truly has raised the bar! The whole evening was fantastic, a big thank you to everyone involved in making it happen. I'd especially like to thank Emma Buck of Emma (nails, hair & make-up) for doing a wonderful job on the canape girls Naomi & Becky who did a fantastic job of serving and entertaining guests. Also a massive thank you to Robert Marriott of Snap photography for the most amazing photos (attached)! Last but not least I'd like to say thank you to my parents for coming down and doing our promotional video (coming soon), and of course to everyone at Chandlers for making it possible. It was a real pleasure to work with Dale again, I'm sure he wont reciprocated this as there were a couple of incidences where he was nearly wearing a bottle of Brugal!

It was a launch party that people will be talking about for months to come, with Brugal Mojitos and Pimms & Lemonade on tap, and the finest selection of rums I believe I've ever seen in one place, Chandlers roof top bar is set to be one of Chesterfields hidden gems!

A note for those that wish to check it out, be aware it is a VIP bar and as such requires a dress code, that means no t-shirts or trainers allowed. Bare this in mind when you're getting ready to go out as I'd hate for anybody to miss out on such an awesome bar.

The launch party itself went of with a bang, especially when the fireworks spectacular went off! I hope that the roof top terrace bar at Chandlers continues to be a roaring success, and I look forward to enjoying a few good rums up there in the near future.
